Induction Packet
We ask that the Guidelines and Work Therapy Program packets be downloaded along with the application. This is to ensure that the student has a full understanding of the program's policies and philosophies before he makes a decision. There is a form at the end of the Work Therapy Program packet that must be read, signed and returned with the application.
The person desiring to enter the program must contact the Intake Director and complete a phone screen interview prior to being approved for admission. Once a phone screen and application have been completed, an admission date will be scheduled. Our facility remains at capacity most of the time, so an admission date may not be available for several weeks. It is extremely important that an application is submitted in order to secure a date.
Before admission, Teen Challenge requires that all legal matters such as court dates, fines, etc., be taken care of in advance. If an individual is on probation or parole, he needs to get permission from his parole/probation officer to enter the program, and then he needs to have his probation/ parole officer call and speak to the Intake Director. They must also make arrangements for their monthly fees to be paid. While in the program, they will not have the opportunity to earn an income to pay these fees.
