Addiction affects more than just the person using, so we strongly recommend that family and loved ones read material that will help them understand the dynamics that are a part of addiction. Using these resources will not only benefit the student's progress while in the program, but it will help friends and family heal and learn how to work through past behaviors and present hurts. This allows the student and the family to succeed once their loved one is out and seeking to maintain what he has learned.
